With much anticipation my wife and I had dinner here Saturday night. The food was good. My wide enjoyed her manicotti and my pasta was good as well. Now the difficult part. The service was anything but good. We waited so long for our meals that I was on the verge of cancelling my order (It had not arrived until after my wife was halfway through her entree). I think having to wait over 50 minutes for a meal without an apology is ridiculous.

I have been to Alexander's on several occasions and have never had the taste of "soap" in everything I eat. I loved the food and service and I think if you are looking for a good authentic italian meal Alexander's is the place to be. I studied in Italy for an entire semester and Alexander's is the only food I have had that has come close to my experience.

This was the worst italian food i have ever ate every thing had the taste of soap from the drinks to the entree i will never go back and he gnocchi taste like the ones you buy in the supermarket in those vacuumed sealed bags in the psta aisle!!!!!!!!!

The food here is fantastic.... it was my first time here and everything was very good. Great service and the homemade tira misu was out of this world. I will definitely be back again.

I absolutely love this place. I frequently use the catering service for events at my job and have never been let down. The quality of food here is outstanding. You have to try their homemade tiramisu!

We ate here Saturday night and it was excellent. Everyone raved about their selections.

It was fun to create our own pasta dish, and liked how comfortable everyone made us feel. We will return soon!!!!

The wonderful variety of flavors and warm,inviting atmosphere makes this, hands down, our first choice when dining in Pittsburgh.
